Most series have difficult protagonists or protagonists with difficulties -- or both. What would be the fun without hurdles to cross, or trip on?
Dave Leith and Cal Dion are especially troublesome when stuck in the same room together ... but their conflicts and misunderstandings do keep things lively for me.
They are trying to work it out, though. Trying.
Life can be surreal, stranger than fiction, and you'll find my BC Blues series on the edge of outlandish, but never stranger than life. The explosions are generally internal, but there are plenty of fisticuffs and gun blasts and dire straits too.
You will also find a dark and winding backstory plotted out that will surface -- but each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I really hope you come along for the ride...!
